Easy to use! Everybody should learn !

As a hard-of-hearing girl in this day and age, I find this app extremely useful. I am 16 and have almost gone deaf twice in my life. I thought learning asl would be beneficial regardless if I actually went deaf or not. Unfortunately, there arent as many facilities or opportunities to learn asl in my community, so I am grateful for YouTube (check out Bill Vicars he is amazing) and this app for helping my family and I educate ourselves! So happy this app exists because it brings light to our community and allows our voices to be heard without us having to speak.

When I use to think of deaf people, I thought of them as people with disabilities. I realize how closed minded and uneducated I was. Once I started learning more about it I realized there is nothing different between hearing and deaf people, just speak a different language, I love learning signs , its fun and it makes me confident when I come into contact with someone who is deaf that I can communicate with them. Thanks ASL app, for teaching and educating us. ❤️

This app is great because t can help you learn basic sign language which I believe everyone should know in order to help the deaf community. And Nyle is so gorgous!

Im sorry but ive tried to make it start 2 weeks ago and it didnt. I deleted it and waited maybe hoping for some updates or fixing but today i downloaded it again and its still not working.. Hoping the problem is going to be fixed..? Am i the only one?thnx

When you open up the universal gestures , thumbs up and thumbs down seem a little below even beginners. The alphabet was nice but how about give more helpful videos. Im deaf and just wanted to see if this actually works for those who want to talk to me....this would work If we could at least say only the dumbest things to each other! Educate them with more content please if you are offering this service:)

Just wait until you get to the Nyle sampler and he spells abs

I suggest you to add everything include slang, bad cussing, udern dictionaries and idioms on asl. I know a few of the people want to learn about them, like us!!!!

Its more gestures for non Deaf people than it is actual sign language. 50% sign 50% simple gestures

Great well designed and thought out app. Great for learning basic ASL

Ive been using this for a couple days and have really enjoyed it. I even purchased the ASL pack because Im already learning so much and want to learn more. The people who do the signing in this app are great and are fun to watch, I guess what I mean to say is they are great teachers and keep you interested as well. Thanks for all your hard work! You guys are awesome! Ive looked into other ASL apps and this one mixes phrases and words perfectly and the most efficiently. Id recommend this app to anyone who is wanting to start ASL.

Im not gonna lie, I love this app so much. It has taught me so many things…one of my only requests/suggestions is add more search options. For example, each letter of the alphabet should be able to be searched

I now know how to communicate ABS in ASL. I will NEVER FORGET.

I enjoy everything about this app but more signs would work perfectly. Also adding flash cards or some other way to memorize each sign will help improve the learning experience. Adding more signs such as animals and numbers (11-19) would build this app. Please, please add a ASL dictionary of videos. Everything else on the app is great a little glitches here and there but the interface is easy and clean. A bit more control like a scroll down part where you can pick the sign you want in the pack would be helpful. Thanks for this amazing app and making ASL easier for people to use!!!

Love this app, but was disappointed to find that there was not a package for Medical providers, which is what I was looking for.

The app wont open. It just crashes after a few seconds.

Honestly if i could rate this zero stars I would. It has potential to be a decent app but it keeps crashing. It was a waste of 10 dollars! So disappointed. I want a refund or someone to fix it.

After I spent the $9.99, and bought the whole app, the app keeps crashing

This is a great app and the sign language is very easy to understand the way that they are teaching you. However, like others before me have said, if you purchase the full $10 version the app crashes frequently once purchased. But if you delete the app and reinstall it (may need to restore purchases also) it should work fine again. At least mine did. But yes this bug should be fixed to avoid the hassle of deleting/reinstalling.
