Pros and cons of The ASL App app for iPhone and iPad

The ASL App app good for

When I use to think of deaf people, I thought of them as people with disabilities. I realize how closed minded and uneducated I was. Once I started learning more about it I realized there is nothing different between hearing and deaf people, just speak a different language, I love learning signs , its fun and it makes me confident when I come into contact with someone who is deaf that I can communicate with them. Thanks ASL app, for teaching and educating us. ❤️
I love this app <3 Im been trying to learn asl for years and, while I know my ABCs, 123s, and several over signs, this app has helped teach me so much more and very easily too, and for very little money (many signs are free though FYI!)
Is so easy to use!! Im crazy about it!! Even if im italian i can use it bc is so simple!!!! Love ittt
I was so eager to learn, I mastered all the original content and purchased the remaining content! The slow motion option really helps a lot! And the attractive signers are a plus too lol
What a great and efficient way to help everyone learn! It is easy to navigate through and simple to practice everyday! Im so excited for the people learning more about the beautiful deaf culture that many are a part of!!!
This is an amazing app! I really got a kick out of the fact that it teaches people how to sign eff you because I was taught it in college by a friend that took ASL but forgot it. The only thing this app needs is more signs.

Some bad moments

I am a CODA and thought this would be neat to help supplement teaching my two small children. No verbal indicator of the sign, only text, and my kids cant read yet. Also in the "universal gestures" it teaches the sign for "eff you". Dont think their Grandma would appreciate that one.
I am currently in ASL 1 at my High School so I wanted to get an app to practice with. I got this app and thought it was real ASL, not PSL until I saw some vocabulary that our deaf teacher uses often. I am disappointed and feel like this was a waste of time for me. TL;DR: This is PSL, not ASL so verify any signs you learn from this.
I take ASL 1 in my high school and some of these signs are incorrect from American Sign Language. My teacher is a top of the line interpreter so I trust him.
It good for the abc but thats it cuz if u want to learn more u have to pay
I cant review the app because it wont go anywhere beyond the a-hand.
Ive had this app since the week it came out and it hasnt opened once, I cant even get past the "a-hand" before it crashes. Please fix the bug.

Usually The ASL App iOS app used & searched for
